Description
IT company Logica will cut 700 UK jobs following its acquisition by the Canadian firm CGI. The redundancies account for more than 10% of the company's UK workforce. Similar activities are recorded in other EU countries, e.g. 250 jobs will be cut in Finland (see here) due to the merger.
As of 24 September, there is no timeline for the implementation of the job losses.
