Description
Logica, a provider of ICT consultancy services, has announced redundancies of up to 250 employees. The company is starting negotiations with employee representatives on the cuts.
Logica offers ICT consultancy, particularly programming services and employs approx. 3,200 people in Finland. It was acquired by the Canadian CGI group in August 2012. The company names as reason for the restructuring the need to adjust its operations to declining demand, as well as to the new group’s business practices. Options to outright dismissals (e.g. temporary lay-offs, early retirement) will be explored in the negotiation process.
