Description

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has announced that it is to open a base at Palma airport in March 2012. This will result in the creation of 250 direct jobs at the Palma base and up to 3,000 indirect jobs in the Balearics. The new operating hub will operate 47 routes (of which 17 are new) and transport 2.8mn passengers per year.
