Description

Ryanair, the Irish passenger airline, plans to create at least 1,000 jobs in 2012, due to expansion in Denmark, Poland, Mallorca, Cyprus and the UK. The vacancies are for pilots, cabin crew, engineers and sales and marketing professionals.

The move will increase the size of Ryanair's workforce by more than 10 per cent, from around 8,000. This reflects an expansion in the carrier's fleet, from 270 to 305 aircraft. New bases have already been announced, in Billund (Denmark), Wroclaw (Poland), Manchester (UK) and Paphos (Cyprus). It is not yet clear exactly how many jobs will be created in each country.
