Description

Swedish truck manufacturer Scania is reemploying 250 persons at their plants in Oskarshamn, Luleå and Södertälje due to an increase in demand. In total Scania is hiring 500 employees in Europe. This latest recruitment comes after the hiring of 500 people in Europe and 300 in Sweden in May 2010 (see previous fact sheet 15497). Despite this recruitment activity the company still has fewer employees than before the economic crisis.
