Description

As a consequence of GM's decision to liquidate Saab, Lear Corporation will dismiss 119 workers from its seating systems plant in Trollhättan.

53 white-collar workers and 66 blue-collar workers are concerned. Lear Corporation, a global supplier of automotive seating systems, electrical distribution systems and electronics, and other automotive suppliers in Sweden with close connections to Saab and Volvo are facing an uncertain future (14937, 14947).

Lear had already reduced its workforce in Sweden in 2008 (11799, 11768).
