Description
The bank Dexia announced on 25 September that it will dismiss 143 workers in Luxembourg. This restructuring process is part of a bigger plan that would save EUR 600 million by 2011. The bank intends to focus on its core activities such as retail banking and insurances, and improve the efficiency of its diverse departments. Dexia was severely affected by the financial crisis.
