Description
The bank Dexia is about to cut 602 jobs in Belgium (445), Luxembourg (143) and France (14). This restructuring process is part of a bigger plan that would save EUR 600 million by 2011. The bank intends to focus on its core activities such as retail banking and insurances, and improve the efficiency of its diverse departments. Dexia was severely affected by the financial crisis.
