Description
Fincantieri, an Italian shipbuilding group operating in the naval, cruise, marine systems and high-tech solutions sectors, has announced that it plans to create over 4,000 new jobs worldwide under its Industrial Plan for 2026-2030.
The plan aims to expand the company’s direct workforce from the current 23,000 to approximately 27,500 by 2030. The business expansion is driven by a record order backlog of €60 billion and a strategic focus on naval defense, cruise ships, and underwater technologies. While the expansion is international, it will have a significant impact on Italy Fincantieri 2026-IT , where the company already employs 12,000 people and currently has about 90 active job openings. The recruitment drive will target a wide range of profiles, from naval and electronic engineers to specialized shipyard workers and experts in digitalization and sustainability.
Headquartered in Italy, Fincantieri operates 18 shipyards located in Italy, Poland, Romania, Norway, Canada, Croatia, Brazil, Vietnam, and the United States.
