Description

Dassault Aviation, a French aerospace manufacturer, has announced that it will relocate about 600 jobs from its site in Argenteuil to a newly inaugurated plant in Cergy-Pontoise. The transfer occurred between July 2024 and January 2025.

The job transfer concerns engineers, technicians, and skilled workers. The company is actively expanding its workforce through inclusive hiring practices and internal training programs to address a broader industry-wide labour shortage.

The new plant, which is the company's first new manufacturing site since the 1970s, specialises in the assembly of Falcon and Rafale components, system integration, and the production of metallic piping. The project was initiated in 2019, started in 2021, and was completed in 2024.

Headquartered in France, Dassault Aviation employs approximately 14,500 people globally, and around 10,600 in France.

Previous restructuring events of Dassault in France have been reported in the ERM database: Dassault Aviation 2022-FR , Dassault Aviation 2023-FR , Dassault Aviation 2024-FR
