Description

Transtema, a Swedish communications infrastructure company operating across the Nordic region, announced approximately 160 job cuts in its Norwegian operations. The reductions include 70 positions eliminated during the fourth quarter of 2025 and a further 90 positions planned to be cut in 2026, following weaker market development and declining revenues in Norway that negatively affected the company’s financial performance. A further 160 positions will be cut in Sweden Transtema 2026 - SE.

The company states that is will engage in negotiations with affected trade unions. The workforce reductions are part of a broader cost-saving programme aimed at strengthening profitability and competitiveness. In addition to staff cuts, the programme includes reducing consultants, reviewing unprofitable contracts, consolidating locations and improving subcontractor management.

Founded in 1997, Transtema provides installation, service, operation and monitoring services within communications infrastructure. The Group employs approximately 1,300.
