European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Finnish telecommunications company Elisa, operating in the ICT sector, has announced that it will cut 357 jobs globally.
In Finland, the cuts will affect 347 positions Elisa 2025-FI . Elisa has completed the negotiations with trade unions in Finland and other operating countries. The layoffs will begin in the first quarter of 2026.
The measure is part of a cost-saving programme aiming to save about €40 million annually. The programme also includes a reduction in outsourced services and initiatives to improve procurement efficiency.
Elisa is present in over 20 countries and employs about 6,700 people globally.
