The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Finnish telecommunications company Elisa , operating in the ICT sector, has announced a savings package, which would entail the dismissal of 450 staff, out of which 400 in Finland. The change programme also includes a reduction in outsourced services and initiatives to improve procurement efficiency. The cooperation negotiations comprise all functions.
During the past year, there have already been ten separate cooperation negotiations in different functions. Representative of Trade Union Pro states strict budget control and savings programmes have become Elisa’s modus operandi, even while the company continues to make a steady profit. In Q3 2025 Elisa's revenue grew by 4,6 percent year-on-year to €561 million, and comparable profit grew by 1,9 percent to €139 million.
