Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik (AT&S), an Austrian high-tech manufacturer of IC substrates and printed circuit boards, announced the creation of 150 new jobs at its Leoben production site. The expansion is linked to the new “Hinterberg 3” substrate facility, which began operations in June 2025 and produces Europe’s first locally manufactured high-tech substrates, and was registered in the ERM Events database. The company plans to gradually scale up the cleanroom production to meet growing customer demand, focusing on permanent, full-time positions for both skilled employees and career changers. Recruitment includes comprehensive training and technical German courses to facilitate workforce integration.
