European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ryanair, low-cost airline based in Dublin, has invested 130 million euros to open the first training centre for Boeing 737-8200 crews in Kraków, which created 150 jobs. The new positions include flight instructors, pilots in training, cabin crew, maintenance engineers, simulator technicians, and administrative support staff.
The centre is intended to strengthen the potential of the airport in Balice, create jobs and enable technology transfer to Kraków. The centre was opened on 30 September 2025 and will be able to train up to 500 pilots, cabin crew and engineers.
