Description
Rogers, an international producer of electrical components and parts, has announced it will restructure its facility in Evergem. In total around 110 employees are at risk of losing their job, 69 blue collar workers and 41 white collar workers.
The main reason behind the restructuring is a shift of production towards other facilities abroad. Trade unions are worried for the future of the facility, given the previous restructuring rounds and a lack of investments.
These reorganisations have been ongoing for a longer period of time and this is the third round of dismissals within the facility.
The first round of dismissals of Rogers' facility can be found here: Rogers 2020 - BE
