Description
Rogers Bv, part of the American Rogers Corporation group and a manufacturer of electronic equipment, has announced shifts within production lines of the larger group. These changes will lead to a dismissal of approximately 114 employees at the facility in Evergem. Several production lines of the facility will be moved to China in the near future. The company management states that the changes are part of a larger effort to re-orient the facility in Evergem. This could possibly lead to a new production line at the facility, which in turn could lead to 33 new jobs in the future. Trade unions are currently negotiating different options and scenarios with regards to the dismissals.
