American multinational technology company Microsoft has announced that it will cut 1,900 jobs worldwide, including 136 positions in Ireland.
The dismissals will be carried out at Blizzard Entertainment which was recently acquired by Microsoft in a deal worth $69 million. Following the acquisition, Microsoft announced that it would be cutting 1,900 jobs across its video-gaming divisions, including at Blizzard.
