Description

The management of Safran Helicopter Engines has announced the recruitment of 300 permanent employees in 2024 for the two sites at Tarnos and Bordes in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, where 4,500 workers are employed. The company plans to produce more than 1,000 engines a year between now and 2025. In 2024, in addition to the 300 permanent contracts, the sites are expected to take on 300 people under a variety of status (temporary workers, trainees, apprentices and doctoral students). Taking into account natural attrition, the Group expects to create 100 net new jobs in 2024. The recruitment targets all areas, from manufacturing to design offices, from support activities to operational activities, quality, purchasing, supplier management, etc. The two sites have already recruited 400 people on permanent contracts in 2023 (FR-Safran-2023. Another job creation announcement was recorded in the ERM database in 2021 with 300 job creations planned for 2022 FR-Safran-2021
