Description

German supermarket chain Aldi has announced the opening of 5 new supermarkets in Spain during October 2023, specifically in Melilla, Camargo (Cantabria), Bilbao (Basque Country), Madrid and Bétera (Community of Valencia). The company is aiming to hire more than 600 new employees until the end of 2023.

Aldi is currently engaged in an expansion plan to consolidate its presence in Spain, particularly in some key areas such as Madrid, the North of Spain and the Mediterranean Coast. Until the end of the year, Aldi is seeking to have a total of 7,600 employees in Spain, around 15% more than in 2022.
