Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Mars has announced it will create 100 new jobs at its pet food plant in Błonie, Poland, after the installation of a second production line is completed. Worth over PLN 600 million, the investment in the plant created around 200 new jobs in 2022. The company has recently decided to make a further investment, which has lead to the newly launched recruitment campaign.
The wet pet food factory in Błonie is the multinational company's fifth production facility in Poland. The products manufactured in Błonie are sachets of the most popular Mars Petcare brands sold in Poland, the UK, France and Germany, among others.
Mars is an American corporation that manufactures and sells chocolate, ready meals, beverages, pet food, chewing gum and sugar confectionery. In Poland, Mars has been investing since 1992, contributing to the development of the economy and local communities.
