Description

French railway manufacturer Alstom has announced that it will create 200 new jobs at a newly opened production rail bogies plant in Nadarzyn. The company is looking for fitters, mechanics, electricians, turners, painters, quality control specialists and administrative staff.  The plant will take over rail bogies production responsibilities from Piaseczno and Wroclaw plants. The new plant just launched will produce production of trolleys for regional trains, metro and trams.

Alstom operates in 70 countries and employs over 70,000 people globally. In Poland, the company employs over 4,000 people at eight units located in Katowice, Wrocław, Łódź, Warsaw, Toruń, and Piaseczno and at three plants located in in Chorzów, Wrocław and Świętochłowice.

This year two business expansions of Alstom were announced, with 300 jobs created in January (Alstom-2022-PL) and 150 jobs created in July (Alstom-2022-2-PL).
