Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French railway manufacturer Alstom has announced that it will create 300 new jobs at its units across Poland by 2022. The company plans to hire engineers, electricians, welders, lacquerers, sanders, and railway traffic control specialists. The recruitment process is part of a global business expansion that aims to employ 7,500 people worldwide.
Alstom operates in 70 countries and globally employs over 70,000 people. In Poland the company employs over 4,000 people at eight units located in Katowice, Wrocław, Łódź, Warsaw, Toruń, and Piaseczno. Poland represents the company’s headquarters for Central and Eastern Europe.
