European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
RENFE, the national passenger railroad company of Spain and main Spanish railway operator, has called for a public employment offer process (OPE) to hire 400 new drivers. The move is part of the 2022 OPE call to hire more than 1,000 new drivers in this field in 2022. Renfe already has got 5,655 drivers, its highest level in ten years due to the increasing role played by the rail transport within the current greening transportation process.
This announcement comes after a previous public employment offer process (OPE) implemented last February/March 2022 (RENFE-2022-ES) as well as in 2021 (RENFE-2022-ES).
