Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French provider of IT and engineering services Sii has announced that it will create more than 100 new jobs at its unit in Łódź by the end of 2022. The new positions are for experts in IT, business intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, big data, machine learning and consultancy for company’s partnerships. There are also offers for younger specialists. Sii is looking for candidates with knowledge of foreign languages, especially English, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch. Most of these roles can be performed remotely. About 80 jobs are expected to be created by March 2022.
Sii was founded in France in 1979. The company has been operating in Poland since 2006. Currently, the company employs 6,500 people in 14 branches across Poland. The unit in Łódź has been operating since 2012 and currently employs 420 staff. It implements IT, business process outsourcing and engineering projects.
Previous Sii's business expansions were announced in February 2020 (100 jobs created) and August 2021 (200 jobs created).
