European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The French provider of IT and engineering services Sii has announced that it will create up to 200 new at its unit in Gdańsk by the end of 2021.
Sii was established in 1979 in France. The company has been operating in Poland since 2006. Currently, the company employs 5,500 people in 14 branches across Poland. The unit in Gdańsk was launched in 2008; currently, it employs about 1,000 staff. The Gdańsk centre provides its services to over 40 global companies operating in such sectors as financial, banking, health care, trade and automotive industry. The unit specialises in IT, R&D and industrial engineering projects.
Previous business expansion was announced in February 2020 (100 jobs created).
