Description

German discount supermarket chain Lidl announced that it will create 500 new jobs at its stores and distribution centres across Poland in the near future. Between 23 August and 12 September 2021, the company is to conduct a recruitment campaign – another edition of the nationawide ‘Work for years’ campaing. The source also reports that the chain has increased monthly wages at every level of its sale structure since March 2021. All new employees will receive a benefit package, including private medical care, life insurance and training programme as well as foreing language learning.

In Poland, Lidl has been operating since 2002.

Previous business expansions were announced in February 2021 (2,600 jobs created), February 2020 (2,000 jobs created), September 2019 (1,000 jobs created) and March 2019 (600 jobs created).
