Description

Polish convenience store chain Dino Polska announced that it will create 680 jobs at its new distribution centre in Sierpc, Poland. The centre is expected to be launched in the second half of 2021. The source reports that about 500 positions will be created at the centre, and another 180 in the transport activities. The investment is associated with the company’s plans to expand its activity across the country.

Dino was founded in 1999 and its stores are generally located in medium and small-sized towns. Currently, the chain has about 1,400 stores and five distribution centres across the country; the company employs about 21,000 staff. Previous restructuring programmes were announced in October 2018 (350 jobs created), June 2020 (600 jobs created) and October 2020 (300 jobs created).
