Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Home decor and gardening retail company Leroy Merlin announced plans to create 102 jobs at its new store in Kutno in 2021.
The unit, with an area of nearly 7,500 square metres, is expected to be launched in the second half of 2021. The source reports that the chain has already initiated a recruitment process; Leroy Merlin is looking for logistics coordinators, managers, customer advisors, cashiers, logistics and warehouse staff. All employees will receive an additional benefit package, including private medical care and life insurance.
The company has been operating in the country since 1994, it runs over 60 stores employing over 10,000 people.
Previous business expansions were announced in February 2020 (150 jobs created), and in August 2020 (130 jobs created).
