Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Home decor and gardening retail company Leroy Merlin announced plans to create 150 customer service and warehouse jobs at its new store in Radom, Poland. The unit, with an area of over 10,000 square metres, is expected to be launched in the second half of 2020. The source reports the chain has already initiated a recruitment process.
Operation in the country since 1994, the company runs over 60 stores employing over 10,000 people. The company already registered four additional events of job creation in 2019: 160 new jobs in February, 160 in March, 130 in July, 130 in August and 140 in November.
