Description

The Danish producer of wind turbine blades , LM Wind Power, announces that the company is closing two factories in Lunderskov, Southern Jutland, whereby 200 employees will be made redundant. The management has started obligatory negotiations with the employees' representatives with the aim to find measures mitigating the effects of the closures. According to the CEO, price reductions and the level of demand indicate that it will be too expensive for the company to maintain wind turbine blades production in Denmark. The offices and the development facilities of the company stay in Lunderskov.
