Description

The cosmetics producer L'Oreal plans to offshore around 90 jobs from its newly opened site in Vienna to Germany. The reason for the restructuring is the company's plan to develop and specialise an IT hub in Germany. Currently, the hub in Vienna employs 316 workers. As of January 2020, it is unknown when the restructuring will be implemented. A speaker of the company announced, that the actual number of dismissals depends on the willingness of the staff to move to Germany.

The Paris-based company L'Oreal is a market leader in Austria and has an annual turnover of €27 billion worldwide.
