Description

The Polish producer of mining machinery Jastrzębskie Zakłady Remontowe (JZR) announced that it plans to create about 170 new positions at its production facility in Suszec in 2020. JZR is looking for welders, locksmiths and machine operators. In 2020, the company will expand its production division at the unit and will construct new production halls and operate working space with a total space of 15,000 quadrat meters. The company plans to invest nearly PLN 48.5 million (€ 11.30 million as at 01 February 2020) in the project.

Jastrzębskie Zakłady Remontowe was founded in 1998 as a subsidiary of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW), a coal mining company. The company specialises in the production of mining machinery as well as renovation and modernization of mining equipment. Currently, the company employs about 500 people.
