Konplan, a Czech subsidiary of a German packaging and bottling machine manufacturer, is to open a new development and office centre in the Pilsen industrial and commercial zone Borská pole and to employ about 140 people in March 2020. Koplan currently employs 160 people at its Pilsen site. The newly built centre cost CZK 200 million (€7.9 million as at 17 January 2020).
Krones, headquartered in Neutraubling (Germany), is the world's leading manufacturer of lines for filling beverages in plastic and glass bottles or beverage cans. Globally, the company employs 1,800 people.
