Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Polish furniture company Agata Meble has announced that it will create about 100 jobs at its new retail store in Włocławek, Poland. The unit is expected to be opened in the first quarter of 2020.
Agata Meble, formerly known as Bytomskie Fabryki Mebli - a state-owned furniture company which was founded in 1952, is now a private distributor of furniture and interior design accessories. Currently, the company has 28 stores across the country giving access to products from more than 250 different manufacturers from Poland and abroad.
A previous restructuring took place in November 2019 (100 jobs created).
