Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Webhelp, a France-based global business process outsourcing company, has announced that it will create 120 new permanent jobs in its call centre in Larbert, Scotland. The recruitment process is already underway and the newly recruited staff will start work from 13 January 2020. The new jobs include 90 customer service and 30 sales roles. The employees will be providing services to Sky Mobile customers.
Webhelp UK was established in 2013 and it has 11 sites across the country. The company provides services to businesses in the telecommunications, media, financial services, retail, energy, and travel sectors.
