Description
The Bondshold Group, a UK-based steel and iron company manufacturer, entered into administration in December 2019, making 169 employees redundant with immediate effect. The bankruptcy will impact group’s three plants across the North of England. The administrators explained that they were unable to find a buyer for the company and ensured their assistance to affected workers.
Bondshold was founded 150 years ago – in the Victorian era it supplied the British Army with cannonballs, while more recently it produced equipment for the offshore oil and gas industry.
