Description

Jet2, a UK-based budget airline and travel company, expands its workforce by 220 positions for the summer programme 2020. The newly created roles include pilots, engineers, cabin crew positions and operational roles such as crew control, compliance and security. For around 120 of the new positions, the company has selected people formerly employed by the collapsed travel company Thomas Cook. An additional 100 new positions which include 50 aircraft operating roles and 50 jobs in engineering will be available in the first quarter of 2020. The new staff is expected to start work by summer 2020, following a period of training.

It is not certain, where the jobs will be located but according to the company and the local press, some new jobs will be with a base at Manchester Airport and in Jet2’s Commercial Office in Leeds.
