Frozen food manufacturing company Iglotex announced its plans to invest approximately PLN 80 million (€18.56 million) in the construction of a new factory in Skórcz. The business expansion is expected to result in the creation of 680 new job positions. Located in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, the new facility is planned to extend over a production area of 13,600 square metres and a warehouse area of 9,000 square metres. Responsible for the manufacture of frozen pizza, pierogi and pizza bread, the production line is due to be opened in the third quarter of 2020. Instead, the warehouse is expected to be launched in June 2020.
Operational for over 30 years, the company is a leading producer of frozen foods in Poland. The company has a nationwide distribution structure, with 25 distribution centres, and two production facilities located in Grudziądz and Tarnów. The company sells its products in over 30 countries worldwide.
