Description

TUI UK, the British subsidiary of TUI Group, the multinational travel and tourism company, has announced a summer programme expansion, hiring 100 pilots and 200 cabin crew members. Many of the vacancies are expected to be filled in by professionals, previously employed by Thomas Cook, the British tour operator, which collapsed in 2019. The general secretary of the British Airline Pilots’ Association (BALPA) said he was pleased that TUI was achieving a morally responsible business expansion.

TUI Airways will add about 10,000 flights to its portfolio in 2020 – including many flights from UK airports in the north of England and Scotland which used to be served by Thomas Cook Airlines.
