Description

Home furniture retailer Kontrast announced the opening of an intermodal logistics centre in Łapy. The business expansion is expected to create around 100 new job positions. The first batch of shipped goods to the warehouse is planned to be delivered in October 2019, while the centre is planned to be fully operational within the next months. Located in the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone, the centre received investments amounting to €3.51 million from the company and an additional €3.51 million from EU regional subsidies.

Operational in the country since 1990, the company sells home furniture and carpets.
