Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The airline Air Caraïbe has announced the recruitment of around 100 employees due to company's foreseen growth and modernisation. In December 2019 the company will introduce its first Airbus A350-1000 programme, which will increase workforce demand. In addition to pilots and flight crew, the company is looking for mechanics and engineering profiles due to advancements in digitalisation of air transport. Air Caraïbe hires new staff not only from continental France, but also from French overseas territories in order to support the social conditions in those regions.
Currently, Air Caraïbe employs between 1,200 and 1,300 people, depending on the season.
