European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Due to business expansion, the insurance company Granite Underwriting is creating 300 new job positions in Liverpool. The new positions include roles in underwriting, customer service, claims handling and human resource management. There is no information on when all the jobs are expected to be filled.
The company specialises in motor insurance for private hire taxis (including black cabs, Uber and other large operators) under different brands. It has been operating since 1982 and it currently has a workforce of 850 employees across Merseyside.
