Description
The Dutch inspection for environment and transport is searching for 150 new inspectors. The inspection has been dealing with a shortage of inspectors, due to budget constraints, for a long time and as a result the inspections, for example at the Dutch highways, are substandard. In May 2019 the inspection received a 10% increase in its budget, which now will be used to attract the much needed extra inspectors in order to adequately monitor and enforce the law, regulation and international treaties to protect people and the environment.
