Description
Charity telephone fundraising agency Listen closed with immediate effect, resulting in the loss of all 106 jobs. Based in London, the company had raised over GBP 250 million (€280.5 million) for its charitable clients during its ten years of operations. As it had been experiencing difficult trading conditions in recent times, the company entered into a company voluntary arrangement earlier in 2019 in a bid to pay off its debts and it explored as well other ways of attracting additional funding. A statement from the company confirmed that no charities were among its list of creditors.
