Description
The automotive supplier NTN-SNR, specialised in motor bearings, has announced the recruitment of 150 people by 2023 in Argonay. At this site, the company manufactures the bearings used by engine manufacturers Safran, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce and General Motors. In April 2018, NTN-SNR has established an extended production site in Argonay (near Annecy) to meet the growth of its market.
To guarantee these recruitments, NTN-SNR has launched the LEARN project to offer a 13-month vocational training programme. It is open to any candidate over 18 years of age, without any qualification or diploma requirements. No CV is required for the recruitment phases, which consist of a half-day of logic and assembly practical tests (4 hours), followed by an interview. At the end of this course, the new workers will obtain a Certificate of Joint Qualification in Metallurgy (CQPM) attesting to the acquisition of professional skills for industrial trades, at the national level. The launch of this project will take place on 18 November 2019 after a recruitment phase in October.
The group employs 6,921 people in Europe and reached a turnover of 1.5 billion in 2017.
