Description
Holiday company SuperBreak has ceased trading and it is understood that around 150 jobs have been lost with immediate effect. The company's parent group Malvern Group also operates under the Laterooms trading name and in total employs around 250 people across the two companies, which specialise in city breaks both in the UK and overseas. The Malvern Group appointed KPMG as administrators and tried to secure additional funding from banks, as well as trying to push for a quick sale of the business. Banks declined to provide further funding and a buyer could not be found within the time frame, leading to the decision to cease trading.
