European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Polish national postal operator Poczta Polska has announced that it will create 360 jobs at its units across Poland in 2020. The programme is targeted at people with certified disabilities. Poczta Polska wants to hire for profiles in customer service, dispatch and distribution matters, consignment handling, cargo handling, drivers (cars up to 3.5 tonnes) and postmen. The programme is part of a new project which was initiated by Poczta Polska and Fundacja Aktywizacja (a Polish NGO which advances education and employment opportunities for people with disabilities) in 2018, and the project is financed by the Państwowy Fundusz Rehabilitacji Osób Niepełnosprawnych (PFRON, the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled Persons). The company announced that the previous stage of the programme for 2019, is almost finished as 347 out of 400 jobs have been created (the business expansions programme was announced in February 2019). As of August 2019, Poczta Polska employs about 1,730 people with disabilities.
