Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Irish ‘fast fashion’ chain Primark has announced that it will create over 250 jobs at its first store in Poland. Primark has signed a lease agreement for 3,600 squared meters of retail space at the Galeria Młociny in Warsaw. The recruitment process is expected initiate in September 2019. The company will look for managers, sale managers, shop-assistants, storage staff, cash settlements specialists as well visual merchandising specialists.
Primark, headquartered in Dublin (Republic of Ireland), was founded in 1969. The chain has over 370 stores in 12 countries. Primark employs over 75,000 people.
