Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Germany-based supplier of IT services for the financial sector GFT Poland, a subsidiary of GFT Technologies, has announced that it will create about 120 new jobs at its units in Łódź and Warsaw. The business expansion is associated with a new project involving implementation for Guidewire technology. Both programmers and consultants profiles will be taken on and will initially work on implementing Guidewire software in the cloud in new centres for the French insurance group Macif.
GFT Poland is a part of GFT group which provides IT services to the ten largest banks in the world. The group was founded in 1987 and operates in 13 countries. GFT (former Rule Financial) has been operating in Poland since 2007. Currently, GFT has three offices in Poland (Poznań, Łódź and Warszawa) and employs over 800 specialists.
